Looks like there are many regular participants who will unfortunately not be able to attend this year’s Tournament in Chicago. You will be missed!

But even if you can’t be in Chicago, remember that you can still support the event by placing an ad in the Tournament Journal. Click here to open and download the form [pdf].

You have until April 30th to mail the form along with payment to:

Invitation to the 68th Annual YMS of R / PNCC Bowling Tournament

Dear Bowlers and Friends,

We cordially invite you to “Let the Good Times Roll in Chicago” at the 68th Annual YMS of R / PNCC Bowling Tournament, May 17-19, 2013 hosted by All Saints Cathedral Parish of the Polish National Catholic Church. The Tournament is the longest-running social event in the PNCC, and we are thrilled to finally bring it to the Windy City!

The Tournament is open to all PNCC Parishioners, members of PNU/Spojnia, and non-PNCC individuals belonging to a PNCC- sponsored bowling league. There are three bowling events (Singles, Doubles and Team) with prizes being awarded in four divisions (Open, Women’s, Youth and Spojnia). The Singles and Doubles events are on Friday the 17th, and the Team event is on Saturday the 18th. You can bowl in all three events, or just one or two.

And Tournament Weekend is not just about the bowling! It’s about making new friends, reuniting with old friends, and seeing the sights. Chicago has so much to see and do! We encourage you to bring your family and friends and stay an extra day or two. A Tournament Visitor Guide with information on dining, sightseeing, shopping and more is also available at this website.

You can download a Tournament packet which includes the Schedule of Events, Rules and Regulations, Registration Forms and other information you need to plan your Tournament weekend. If you have questions or need additional packets, please contact Judie Szydlowski, Tournament Chair by telephone at 630-222-0334 or by E-mail.

We also ask that you consider placing an item in our Tournament Journal. Not only is the traditional “program ad book” a nice keepsake of the Tournament, the revenue helps us keep the registration costs down so more people can participate in the bowling events. This year the Tournament Journal will be distributed Friday at check-in (instead of at the Awards Event), and will be made available in electronic format after Tournament weekend.

Get your teams together and send in your registration soon…because the first 25 bowlers registered will be entered in our Grand Prize Raffle! All forms need to completed and received by the 2013 Tournament Committee no later than April 15, 2013.

A Special Invitation to All Youth of the PNCC

If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you can bowl with the best bowlers in our Church!!!

You can bowl with an adult, OR you can bowl with another 13-17 year old, BOTH girls and boys are invited!!!

However, there will be no cash prizes for those of you winning in your particular event. The Central Guiding Committee did not want to jeopardize your amateur standing.

Special awards will be given to the winners that enter this Division.

And come and enjoy one of the
