Dear Bowlers and Friends,
We cordially invite you to “Let the Good Times Roll in Chicago” at the 68th Annual YMS of R / PNCC Bowling Tournament, May 17-19, 2013 hosted by All Saints Cathedral Parish of the Polish National Catholic Church. The Tournament is the longest-running social event in the PNCC, and we are thrilled to finally bring it to the Windy City!
The Tournament is open to all PNCC Parishioners, members of PNU/Spojnia, and non-PNCC individuals belonging to a PNCC- sponsored bowling league. There are three bowling events (Singles, Doubles and Team) with prizes being awarded in four divisions (Open, Women’s, Youth and Spojnia). The Singles and Doubles events are on Friday the 17th, and the Team event is on Saturday the 18th. You can bowl in all three events, or just one or two.
And Tournament Weekend is not just about the bowling! It’s about making new friends, reuniting with old friends, and seeing the sights. Chicago has so much to see and do! We encourage you to bring your family and friends and stay an extra day or two. You can download a Tournament packet which includes the Schedule of Events, Rules and Regulations, Registration Forms and other information you need to plan your Tournament weekend. We also ask that you consider placing an item in our Tournament Journal. Not only is the traditional “program ad book” a nice keepsake of the Tournament, the revenue helps us keep the registration costs down so more people can participate in the bowling events. This year the Tournament Journal will be distributed Friday at check-in (instead of at the Awards Event), and will be made available in electronic format after Tournament weekend.
Get your teams together and send in your registration soon…because the first 25 bowlers registered will be entered in our Grand Prize Raffle! All forms need to completed and received by the 2013 Tournament Committee no later than April 15, 2013.
